New Scout Registration
To officially join our pack for the first time (or to return to our pack after a year's hiatus), you need to complete a two-step process. Note that Cub Scouts now admits children of all genders.
Step One: Registration
Please click here to officially register with the Scouts of America. This online registration portal will link you in with Pack 507.
Step Two: Pack Annual Dues
The money you paid to register your scout takes care of costs at the national and regional level. You will also need to pay dues to our pack in Winchester. This is money that we use to buy supplies for your scout throughout the year (belt loops, patches, Pinewood Derby Cars, Blue & Gold Banquet, etc.) Dues for new scouts are $47. Click here to pay the remainder of your dues at our webstore. Make sure you click the "new scout" radio button at the top so you don't get overcharged.
It's only the first year you'll have to go through this two-step process. After your initial registration, we'll collect your national and regional fees in a bundle with your dues (and your total cost for the year will probably drop).
Scholarships are available on a private as-needed basis by reaching out to Cubmaster Romie Faienza at [email protected] - this includes partial scholarships if you can cover some of the cost but not all of it. We want your kid to be able to join us!

Please click here to officially register with the Scouts of America. This online registration portal will link you in with Pack 507.
- It may ask you to write a check out to our Pack - please do not! This small fee is included in your dues (see step two).
- It may also ask you if you'd like to sign up for a Boys Life Subscription. This is totally optional. Get the magazine if you want it, skip it if you don't.
- As of October 2023, the initial registration cost was around $150.

The following instructions below may help you complete the online application:
- Registering Multiple People: If you have more than one new scout to register, you will need to re-login to start the process from the beginning for each scout.
- Important Fields: Be sure to fill in your child's grade in the online application where prompted. This will help ensure he or she is placed in an appropriate den/group with other children in the same grade.
- Boy's Life Magazine Subscription: As stated, this is optional; it's a monthly magazine for Cub Scouts. Sometimes, you get a discount when you use the registration portal. Other times, you get a discount if you subscribe directly with the publisher. We recommend you comparison shop. A scout is thrifty.
Returning Scout Registration
If your scout was already a member of our pack last year, you can maintain your existing registration with this one-step process:
Pack 507 Annual Dues for returning scouts cover the cost of national office fees, local council office fees, your scout's Adventure Card, and pack events like the Blue and Gold banquet, plus the pinewood derby car kit and badges, belt loops, and pins your scouts earns throughout the year. It's all bundled together in this one place.
We request that returning scouts pay pack dues by the end of September if at all possible to help us plan for the year. If your returning scout does not pay annual dues by the end of December, you will drop off our "renewal" roster and will have to re-register as a new scout. (see above)

- Pay your annual dues through the Pack 507 Online Store.
- Make sure you have selected "Returning Scout" under the heading "Scout Type."
- As of September 2022, annual dues for returning scouts cost $173.

Adult Leader Registration
New leaders can register electronically in a three-step process.
Adult Leader Registration Form
Please fill out your online registration here:

CORI Form
New adult leaders need to complete an electronic CORI at this secure link:
https://hipaa.jotform.com/232543180609050
Youth Protection Training
Please complete the online Youth Protection Training (YPT) here:
https://my.scouting.org/tools/my-training/ypt-training
You will need to log into your my.scouting account, which you created during the "adult leader registration form" step. This training course takes about 70 minutes and does not have to be done in one sitting; it continually saves your progress, even mid-module. Your YPT has to be renewed every two years.
You must complete all three steps. The pack is unable to approve your application until you have also completed CORI and YPT. When you have completed CORI and YPT, please email your certificates of completion to the Pack Committee Chair, Bob Davidson, at [email protected].
