New Scout Registration
All first year scouts are required to register with the Boy Scouts of America through their online registration portal which can be found by visiting https://my.bsa.us/227paa0507mb.
The following instructions below will help you complete the online application:
- Registering Multiple People: If you have more than one new scout to register (or one scout and one adult leader), you will need to re-login to start the process from the beginning for each scout and/or adult leader application.
- Important Fields: Be sure to fill in your child's grade in the online application where prompted, this will help ensure he is placed in an appropriate den/group with other boys in the same grade.
- Boy's Life Magazine Subscription: If you are interested in subscribing to Boy's Life magazine, please do so through by visiting http://boyslife.org/subscribe-now/bundle/ where you can subscribe at the discounted rate of $1 per issue.
- Dues Payment: Beginning in the 2020-2021 season, all new/first year scouts will pay a portion of their dues directly to council when registering. In addition to this, you must pay the local pack fees as well which help support the pack for the year. All other returning scouts will pay council and pack fees directly to the pack. When paying dues through the Pack 507 Online Store, selecting the appropriate value under "Scout Type" will ensure that you are charged the correct amount.
- Pack 507 Annual Dues cover the cost of national office fees, local council office fees, pack events like the Blue and Gold banquet and year end pool party, plus the pinewood derby car kit and badges, belt loops and pins your scouts earns throughout the year.
- Please note that adult leaders are not required to pay pack dues as Pack 507 covers the cost for adult leader applications; only youths are required to pay annual dues from year to year.
- Needs-based scholarships are available for dues and pack events. If you would like to inquire further about scholarships, please email our Cubmaster Mary McConnell at marymcconnell84@gmail.com.
